Privacy Policy
How AmenFirst handles information and protects your private prayer life.

1. Who we are
AmenFirst is provided by Prana Codes (“Prana Codes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the AmenFirst mobile app, website, and related services.
2. Information AmenFirst handles
AmenFirst stores your first name, onboarding answers, prayer intentions, pause and prayer history, streaks, saved verses, reminder settings, Bible position, language, and app preferences locally on your device. For users with an active paid subscription, a pseudonymous encrypted-in-transit backup of portable progress is also stored in our cloud so it can be restored after reinstalling. Device permissions, temporary app unlocks, and selected guarded-app identifiers stay on the device. If you join or create a Circle, your chosen display name, avatar, daily points, streak, and circle membership are stored in our cloud and shared with members of that Circle so scores and progress can be shown.
3. Android protection permissions
If you enable protection, AmenFirst uses Android Usage Access to identify which app is currently in the foreground and Display Over Other Apps to show your chosen prayer pause. It may also use a foreground service, start after reboot, and request battery-optimization exceptions so protection remains reliable. AmenFirst does not read messages, posts, passwords, keystrokes, photos, or the content inside other apps. It does not use Accessibility Service for protection.
4. Notifications and app discovery
With your permission, AmenFirst sends local reminders. On Android, AmenFirst can list launchable apps so you can choose which ones to guard. Your selected app list remains in local app storage unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise.
5. Analytics, attribution, and purchases
When enabled in a release, PostHog may process app events, device and operating-system details, an anonymous identifier, approximate location derived from an IP address, and diagnostic data. Meta may process app events and advertising identifiers for install attribution and campaign measurement where permitted by your device settings and applicable law. RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play may process purchase status, product, price, currency, store receipt, and a pseudonymous app-user identifier to provide and restore subscriptions. We do not send your prayer text, Bible reading content, selected guarded-app list, or the content of other apps to these providers.
6. Circles and sharing with friends
Circles are private groups joined with an invite code. A Circle stores its name, invite code, and each member’s display name, avatar, points, and last activity. Only people with the invite code can join, and only members of a Circle can see its member list and scores. You can leave a Circle at any time. Empty Circles are removed automatically after a period of inactivity. To delete your Circle data, leave your Circles or email us.
7. How we use information
We use information to provide app protection, prayers, Scripture, reminders, saved progress, subscriptions, troubleshooting, security, performance measurement, and product improvement. We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal prayer activity for targeted advertising.
8. Sharing and legal disclosures
Information may be processed by service providers acting for us, including analytics, attribution, subscription, app-store, and crash or infrastructure providers. They may process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer.
9. Retention and deletion
Locally stored AmenFirst data remains until you reset the app, clear its storage, or uninstall it. Paid-user cloud backups may remain after uninstalling so progress can be restored. Service providers retain limited analytics, attribution, diagnostic, and purchase records according to their settings, legal duties, and retention policies. To request deletion of a cloud backup or other associated data, email us.
10. Your choices and rights
You can disable notifications, Usage Access, overlay access, battery exceptions, advertising tracking, and protection through device or app settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You may contact your local data-protection authority if you have a concern.
11. Children
AmenFirst is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information should contact us.
12. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to protections required by applicable law.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as AmenFirst changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be communicated where required. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to pranacodes@gmail.com.
